Christmas Nail Art - Dotted Christmas Trees

Hey guys!

Like I figured I would, I removed the candy cane mani yesterday and did a whole new design. This one was inspired by a holiday card we received where the image of the Christmas tree on front was done abstractly with polka dots. I thought the concept would translate really well into a nail design, so that's what I did! If you want to see the holiday card, I posted a picture of it on Instagram.

The base colour here is Zoya Purity and then I used a bunch of different green polishes to create the trees:

OPI Here Today...Aragon Tomorrow
China Glaze Gaga for Green
China Glaze Four Leaf Clover
China Glaze Holly-Day
China Glaze Re-fresh Mint and
China Glaze Running in Circles

Then I used a small nail art brush and China Glaze Ruby Pumps to create the little stars on top.

I realized a couple of things while doing this mani:
1.) I have a large selection of green polishes from China Glaze, but not many from any other brands, and
2.) Making tiny stars symmetrical, especially using my non-dominant hand, is super hard!

I'm much happier with this mani than I was with the watercolour candy canes. And it got a ton of compliments at my fiance's work Christmas party last night!

Thanks for looking! Have a wonderful Saturday everyone!

I've seen this style of mani a couple times and I love it! It'll definitely be part of my Christmas mani this year :)

I like this one MUCH better than the candy cane one. I really like more abtract nail art. I think you did a nice job on the stars.
Also, I'm sorry, but I'm nitpicky... "fiancée" is feminine. You are implying that you are engaged to a woman. Since it seems you aren't, you may want to start spelling it "fiancé".
