Jini Goes Indie! is a glitter bomb of many different types, sizes and colours of glitter. In fact, it has 25 types of glitter in it! That's far too many glitters to try and describe, but I've included a couple of super macro shots so that you can see as many of the glitters as possible. I will say that my personal favourite glitter types are the coral and large hot pink hexes. I also really like the tiny iridescent pink flakies.
I wanted to show this special polish over a few different shades, so I started with a mani of OPI Can't Find My Czechbook on my index and ring nails and OPI My Vampire is Buff on my middle and pinky nails. Then I added two coats of Jini Goes Indie!. One coat provides a good amount of glitter, but I wanted to get even more. I then did a bit of fishing/placing to fill in any spaces I thought could use more glitter.
The formula was very easy to work with, especially considering what a glitter bomb it is. These types of polishes are usually quite thick, but I found this one really good.
After I removed that mani, I decided that since I was already going all out with this crazy glitter bomb polish, I may as well make it pop even more. So I layered it over a highlighter green neon polish - China Glaze I'm With the Lifeguard.
I think this is a really great polish, and it's that much more special because Jini has truly become a friend of mine.
Congrats on your one year blogaversary, Jini!

ReplyDeleteI love this! It's adorable and fun.
ReplyDeleteGreat macros!! I especially love it over the neon green. I wore it one day over Essence Colour and Go, and I think the name is LOL. It's like a neon version of OPI Who the Shrek are you? I love that the flower shaped glitter on your middle finger has the pink hex in the middle making it look even more like a flower! ♥
