Animal print: my go-to nail art choice when I'm feeling uninspired. Luckily, I never tire of a fun animal print mani!
One of my clients recently brought me a photo that she found on Pinterest of a similar design using pink, black and white. We did that on her nails and I loved it so much that I just had to replicate it on my own nails. Sadly there was no watermark on the photo so I'm not sure where it originates from.
I used all China Glaze products to achieve this look. I first started with a base of China Glaze Highlight Of My Summer, a wonderful bright mint creme on all of my nails. Then I used a striper brush and China Glaze White on White to section off diagonal blocks on both my middle and pinky nails. While that dried, I got to work on the black zebra stripes and polka dots on my thumb (not shown), index and ring fingers using China Glaze Liquid Leather. Once those designs were complete, I went back to the white sections and added some zebra stripes over those. Finally, I added a coat of Seche Vite to finish the design.
Thanks for stopping by!

ReplyDeleteBoth versions are gorgeous! Also I really like that idea of doing the slant (or even a half-moon would work) to deal with growth-show :D If I actually wore a manicure for that long I'd try that too!

ReplyDeleteThis is awesome! I also love your client's slanted polish idea.
ReplyDeleteBy the way, if you want to find the source of an image (or at least get some more information about it), Google has an image search tool where you can actually back-search with the image itself! If you go to the Google page, then click Images at the top, you can drag the image into the search bar and it will bring up other websites the image has appeared on, as well as an option to look at visually similar images. Better yet, you can put in keywords along with the image (such as manicure, a polish brand name, etc) if you want to refine your search more. It's incredibly handy!!
I love this mani! The green looks great & flawless!
